We provide comprehensive legal services in the field of intellectual property and IT law. Our intellectual property services include, in particular, legal advice in the field of industrial property rights, copyright, personality rights and reputation rights, as well as in related areas.

We represent clients in court proceedings (including proceedings for preliminary injunctions) initiated on the basis of infringements of industrial property rights (trademarks, industrial designs, utility models, and patents), infringements of copyright, as well as unfair competition (including breach of trade secrets). We handle these disputes both on behalf of plaintiffs and defendants, taking into account the requirements and needs of our clients, including claims for damages, non-pecuniary damage, and the provision of information.

We also provide our clients with comprehensive protection against counterfeits and imitations of their products protected by industrial property rights. As part of this practice, we also represent clients in court proceedings before customs authorities when filing requests for measures to be taken on the domestic market and at borders, in related proceedings concerning the seizure and destruction of goods, and in any legal disputes. Within this agenda, we have been successful in eliminating goods from the market that infringe on our clients’ industrial property rights.

We represent clients in the registration of their industrial property (in particular trademarks and industrial designs) at the national and international levels, i.e., in proceedings before the Industrial Property Office (ÚPV), the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO), and the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO). We also represent clients before these authorities in defending against competing trademarks and industrial designs. We also cooperate with external patent attorneys, enabling us to successfully cover the agenda of utility models and patents. We also conduct searches for possible competing registrations and infringements of rights for clients if they are interested.

We are also able to apply for subsidies on behalf of our clients for the registration of industrial property rights, as well as for the provision of IP Scan services (business analysis from the perspective of intellectual property rights). In this regard, we have a specialist certified by the EUIPO and registered with the Industrial Property Office, authorized to provide IP Scan services.
In the field of copyright law, in addition to representing clients in court proceedings, we provide advice on the preparation of license agreements and other related contractual documentation, analyze possible infringements of copyright, and provide comprehensive advice on defense.

In the field of IT law, we assist clients primarily with the preparation and review of contractual documentation (in particular, contracts for work, license agreements, and service agreements), as well as with other areas related to their business. In matters of cybersecurity, we cooperate with an external IT service provider, enabling us to cover both the legal and technical aspects of the field.

We also provide legal services in the area of domains, in particular representing clients in domain disputes before the Arbitration Center for .CZ Domains.
