After graduating from the Faculty of Law at Masaryk University in Brno, Jan spent four years at the Office for the Protection of Competition in the Department of Second-Instance Public Procurement Decisions – first for two years as a case officer and subsequently for two years as head of department. At the Solkind law firm, he focuses primarily on public investment law. In addition to his legal practice, he is also involved in publishing – among other things, he is the author of a publication on changes to obligations under public procurement contracts and is the content editor of the specialist application Lexikon VZ.
