Information
Pavel spent twelve years at the Office for the Protection of Competition, where, among other things, he was involved in reviewing the legality of public procurement procedures. He also worked for nine years as an advisor at the Ministry of Regional Development of the Czech Republic, where he was involved in legislative and methodological work in the field of public investment. He played a significant role in the preparation of legal regulations in this area, particularly in the drafting of the Public Procurement Act, and also participated in the negotiations on the current generation of European procurement directives. He is active in publishing – he is co-author of the Commentary on the Public Procurement Act published by Čeněk – and has long lectured on topics related to public procurement. At the Solkind law firm, he focuses primarily on public investment law.
